
Many analysts were forecasting an increase in Home Mortgage Interest Rates for Owner-Occupied Residences, but it appears (FOR RIGHT NOW), the rates are excellent and have decreased just recently. So, for RIGHT NOW, we have:
- Very appealing, low interest rates
- Very appealing down payment requirements – FHA with less than 4% down, Conventional 5% down
- Prices have not yet escalated
- A supply of homes for sale in Columbus and South Central Indiana in a broad range of prices, styles, sizes
Analysis still believe that rates will increase, but no one can say WHEN or HOW MUCH these rates might increase in the future. The current interest rates in Indiana:
